Safety is our #1 Objective

How's our safety record?
Here at Anderson & Wood we are serious about safety.  We have maintained  a safety rating that is superior to the national average.  Our on going safety program consists of monthly scheduled meetings where safety  is taught and performed. Daily pre-work or tailgate meetings are held by the foreman and crew members to discuss the hazards and the process involving the work for the day.

Safety is everyone's responsibility
Everyone deserves a  safe working environment, and every employee is responsible for the safety of those around them.  Safety is not just something we do but a culture that is so prevalent that it becomes second nature.  Everyone looks out for everyone else.  It's a team effort!

Safety Incentives
Safety incentives are given to employees that follow our safety  procedures and strengthen our safety culture on a consistent basis.

Greetings from our Safety Director
Hi my name is Chuck Woodings and I take my job very seriously.  I have over forty-one years in all phases of power utility construction.  Much of the last fifteen years has been focused on training, research and development  and managing safety programs.  My career as a safety instructor has covered seven western states and 104 utilities.  Safety should and needs to be habit forming.  Stay well, with best regards, Chuck.
